The annual summer festival at the Bach Museum is also part of the summer, the sun and the vacations. In the museum's educational workshop, visitors have the opportunity to make thaumatropes (wonder disks) on the day of the festival from 10 am to 6 pm. At 10:30 am and 4:30 pm, the museum invites families with children aged 5 and over to take a guided tour through the sonorous and interactive permanent exhibition. A guided tour of the current special exhibition "The voices of women from the Bach family" also begins at 2 pm.
A highlight of the festival is the performance by puppeteer Meike Kreim, which takes place in the courtyard of the Bach Museum from 3 pm. Children and their families are cordially invited to experience the Grimm fairy tale "Snow White and Rose Red".
