Company run 2024 - Information and traffic restrictions

At the Leipzig company run, the focus is not on running times. It is more of a sporting networking event that focuses on team spirit, a sense of community and the fun of running together. The route runs from the Cottaweg fairground via Erich-Köhn-Straße, Rietschelstraße, Paul-Küstner-Straße, Hempelstraße, back via Rietschelstraße, Friesenstraße, Hans-Driesch-Straße and back to the Cottaweg fairground. Parking bans are absolutely necessary for safety reasons for the runners.

Closures:
On August 7, 2024, Cottaweg and Capastraße must be closed from 12:00 noon, as must Hans-Driesch-Straße between the Am Sportforum parking lot and Bauerngraben from 3:00 pm to around 11:00 pm.

The closures will be gradually lifted from around 21:00. The closure of Cottaweg and Capastraße will remain in place until 23:00.

Traffic information Zeppelin bridge:
Extensive construction work is currently taking place on the Zeppelin Bridge, which is currently completely closed. All information and the corresponding detour can be found at leipzig.de/zeppelinbruecke.

Detour route from the afternoon:
From 3:00 p.m. on August 7, 2024, the closures will be set up along the aforementioned running route. The detour for the event period will be inbound and outbound via Ludwig-Hupfeld-Straße, Am Ritterschlösschen, Gustav-Esche-Straße, Rittergutsstraße, Linkelstraße, Georg-Schumann-Straße, Wiederitzscher Straße, Möckernsche Straße, Menckestraße, Platnerstraße, Waldstraße to Leutzscher Allee.
