Excursion with the city forest rangers - City of Leipzig

The city forest rangers provide information about the development of the 35-hectare former maneuver area in Paunsdorf, the grazing animals that live there and introduce the special habitat. They are also available to answer questions about the urban forest. Various grazing animals live in the extensive area, creating a diverse mosaic of habitats. Meadows, shrubs, woodland and ponds are home to numerous, sometimes rare animal and plant species. The offer is limited to 25 participants. Registrations will be accepted until August 23, 2024 by e-mail to stadtwaldranger@leipzig.de Time and place on 25 August at 11 a.m. The meeting point is the Waldkerbelstraße 1a parking lot on the corner of Heiterblickallee.
