In the Schola Cantorum's early music education courses, children learn the basics of music-making in a playful and fun way. They have the opportunity to sing, move, be creative and experience themselves as part of a group. Depending on the course format, these are offered for children between the ages of two and five, either with or without a parent.
The pre-school choirs of the Schola Cantorum are a special offer that forms a bridge between early musical education and the regular choirs. Here, pre-school children experience the joy of singing together, which is considered one of the most important emotional and creative means of human expression. The aim is for the children to explore the possibilities of their own voice in a playful way and to see singing as an enriching part of their everyday lives. If they are interested, the children also have the opportunity to gain their first stage experience in smaller performances at Schola Cantorum concerts.
Further information on early musical education and registration can be found at the Schola Cantorum Leipzig.
