Leipzig-Grünau: Renovation of the football pitch in Krakauer Straße - information event on September 25

The meeting point (even in the rain) is the shelter on the football pitch at the junction of Krakauer Straße and the Alte Salzstraße footpath and cycle path. A new facility will significantly expand the range of sports on offer. The renovation is planned for early 2026. The outdated area will be replaced by a facility that will offer a significantly expanded range of sports activities that are attractive for older children, young people and adults up to an advanced age and invite people to exercise. The aim is to create an inclusive environment that appeals to athletes as well as people with disabilities and casual players. Trees and a variety of seating options will invite people to linger and chat.
