Under the title "Market of Diversity", the main event for regional trades will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Leipzig's market square. Around 50 exhibitors will represent the skills of businesses in the city of Leipzig and the districts of Leipzig and North Saxony. Visitors will have the opportunity to see for themselves the diversity, quality and innovative strength of the skilled trades. Trainees in the trades of roofer, hairdresser and plant mechanic for sanitary, heating and air-conditioning technology will be competing to find the best among them, while bricklayers and carpenters will be celebrating the 585th anniversary of their guilds in style. A varied stage program with dancing and music will provide entertainment.
